Wedding Rings - Jenny Edition
We got a call from the jewellers and we got a quote for Jenny's ring. And it's been ordered! Hoorah!

Grainy Wedding Ring
I thought I'd include a picture of the wedding ring we chose this week.
It's already been pointed out to me that it's an extremely bad picture - and I accept that. For some reason, my keyboard in the background is more in focus than my finger.
Also, I've always wanted to say this - "Check out my ring!"
Working Girls
One more thing. At our wedding, we've also planned for two questionable people attending our wedding.
We are being married by two Hoares. Ron Hoare is our celebrant - a lovely bloke - and his wife Sylvia will be coming along to look after the PA and take a few photos as well.

The beginning of the End
So Jenny and I have decided to start this here little blog to instruct and educate the masses as to what we are thinking and the decisions we make in regards to the wedding. I may also use this to randomly rant about topics that I don't know enough about to make informed decisions.
Anyway. To get the ball rolling. So far, Jenny and I have spent the time since we got engaged organising a few things. We have picked the venue for the wedding and the reception (same place) - The Boathouse on the Lake. The link is at the top of this here blog. We've also booked in the photographer - Dan O'Day - and booked the entertainment Raven Entertainment.
Oh, and we've also got my wedding ring. It was a steal. I found the ring I wanted in a store in Civic. We got a quote for it in case someone bought it in the time before we bought the thing and it came in $700 more expensive than the price on the ring. So we decided to buy it now and get it out of the way.
Apart from that, we haven't done too much in terms of the wedding - Jenny will update you all on other stuff. Oh yeah, we also have been looking at cakes and attire for the wedding. I wanted a relaxed affair with just shorts and t-shirts, but Jenny politely told me to hush and only speak when spoken to. Hence we're hiring suits and Jenny's buying her wedding dress, which I'm told is some sort of white.
That's about it for now. We'll keep in touch.
